MECHANICAL CAD DESIGNER
Proficient with AutoCAD 2D, AutoCAD 3D and Inventor/Vault.
Duties:
- Generate facility layout drawings
- Manufacturing drawings and details
- Experience with machine/fabrication/ welding shop techniques and methods
- Must have a good understanding of drafting standards, geometric tolerances and weld symbols.
Responsibilities in detail:
- Perform system mechanical design and create fabrication drawings
- Create 3D modes using AutoCAD inventor
- Review CAD drawing prepared by other team members
- Study PID, specifications and drawings and ensure that all requirements are taken care of in 3D model
- Pipe sizing calculations
Required experience:
- Piping Design: 3 years
- Autodesk Inventor: 3 years

ENGINEER II
Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:
- Performs data management activities, which include loading/entering, verifying, manipulating, analyzing, and reporting data related to engineering operations.
- Provides user support for software systems to other technical support and professional personnel, which may include installation and maintenance of software and troubleshooting user issues.
- Performs engineering calculations and preliminary analyses for interpretation of data.
- May serve as liaison to corporate Information Systems personnel for more complex problems.
- Performs selection, analyses, and interpretation of technical data.
- Performs advanced data analysis and makes recommendations based on interpretation of data.
- Recommends design improvements using complex, but established procedures.
- Provides basic, discipline-specific training to new systems users.
- Coordinates data transfer and updates shared data sources among departments.
- Utilizes software to discover trends in operational data and reports.
- Applies skills and concepts to ensure data integrity, data reliability, and data accessibility throughout the group.
- Compiles data, communicates, and provides information to engineers.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education, Licenses and Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university required.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Engineering Technology, Math, Science, or related field preferred.
Work Experience:
- 5-8+ years of related work experience required.
- GIS experience preferred.

CHEIF INSPECTOR
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design. Contribute to the engineering phase of major projects through participation in constructibility reviews and providing feedback on scopes of work to project managers.
- Contractor Management. Working with the Project Managers/Contract Inspectors to ensure the Contractors are complying with company policies and programs. This will include overseeing the Contractors’ projects for compliance, auditing any permit systems used, performing inspections, verifying job documentation is properly collected, assisting with incident investigations and ensuring project specifications are met.
- Risk Management. Managing risk by identifying and reviewing risks on the contractor work site, working with contractors to mitigate risk and informing management as appropriate.
- HSSE – Health, Security, Safety & Environment. Oversight of contractor activities to ensure projects are executed in a safe, secure and environmentally sound manner.
- Inspector Database. Developing an Inspector Database to track qualified inspector availability, training and certification and job performance with the goal of assisting project managers with placement of qualified inspectors for all construction projects.
- Reporting. Developing and distributing current reports regarding project status.
- Processes and Procedures. Networking with industry peers and conducting research to ascertain potential best practices for adoption into company practices, processes and procedures for Contractors.
- And other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
- 10-15+ years’ experience in Construction Management in pipelines and terminals or other closely related industry within the oil and gas field required.
- Extensive demonstrated experience managing contractor projects in the field and/or auditing contractor work product on oil and gas industry related projects (preferably in the pipelines & terminals).
- Knowledge of and experience applying Health, Safety, Security & Environmental (HSSE) policies, procedures, and regulations in the oilfield industry (preferably in pipelines & terminals).
- Working effectively in and contributing to a team environment and influence cross-functional teams.
- Effectively delivering key compliance and risk mitigation messages and concepts to a variety of audiences.
- Travel: Up to 75%.
- API 653, API 570, CWI, ASME NDE, NACE all desirable certifications.
- In order to succeed in this position, one must be a self-starter and have excellent communication and analytical skills and the ability to interact with a wide variety of personnel and organizations.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering preferred but will consider applicants with comparable experience.
- API 653, API 570, CWI, ASME NDE, NACE all desirable certifications.

NACE INSPECTOR
Required Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of 5 years experience with the design, construction, monitoring and/or troubleshooting of cathodic protection systems and/or pipeline maintenance requirements.
- NACE Level I certification and NACE Coatings Inspection Certification
- Basic computer skills and the ability to generate e-mail and complete applicable forms as required.
- Ability to speak, read and write English to interpret equipment manuals, service notices, and related data.
- Must be organized and proficient in record keeping.
- Possess a valid driver’s license to operate company vehicles.
- Ability to complete Hazmat training, safety programs, and meet minimum D.O.T. requirements.
Working Conditions:
- Normal office environment and/or outdoor work environment. This could include working at heights and high/low ambient temperatures.
- Requires walking, kneeling, twisting, climbing stairs and ladders, and entering plant equipment to access, inspect and/or collect data on plant equipment.
- Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The use of hard hat, hearing protection, steel toe boots, and gloves are required.
- Rotating and energized equipment, hazardous materials and chemicals.

CERTIFIED WELDING INSPECTOR
The Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)is responsible for performing Quality assurance/Quality Control duties as the customers’ representative, coordinating appropriate NDE, and assuring all applicable codes and standards are met. The CWI will report to either a site manager or project manager who will establish clear expectations in terms of work quality, efficiency, and technical development. The CWI will work on technical aspects of the projects and therefore must be able to communicate technical requirements and deliverables clearly and concisely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand client and customer needs
- Develop innovative solutions to meet client and customer needs
- Operate within the Desert and the customers’ safety protocols at all times
- Assist in managing crews and materials
- Complete all required documentation including daily tickets and work log
Required Qualifications & Competencies for the Position:
- Must have current CWI or CPWI certification
- Ability to draw ISO metric drawings (prefer the use of Auto Cad)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Pipeline construction
- Knowledge and understanding of DOT 192 – 195, API 1104 and ASME B31.3, 4 & 8
- Has knowledge of OSHA guidelines and safe work practices
- Understand weld mapping and heat numbers for pipe and fittings
- Able to operate a GPS (preferably a Trimble Sub Meter)
- Understands and is familiar with staking, surveying, reading alignment sheets and station numbers, welding and visuals, front end work, proper pipe alignment, bends, trenching and sloping, sleeving, coating, jeeping, lowering in, tie ins, padding and backfill, pressure and Hydro testing, pigging, clean up, and the required proper documentation
- Must be able to maintain all certifications
